Welcome to Nightfall, where vintage meets modern luxury. We are thrilled to have you as our guests!

Our beautiful property has some special features which we have outlined below to help everyone have the most amazing stay at Nightfall.

Check in & Check out

CHECK IN: 2PM

CHECK OUT: 10AM

We understand that life happens and at Sabbatical we try to be as flexible as possible. Therefore we have fitted electronic door locks to all our external doors at Nightfall to allow you to check in and out whenever it suits you most.

The code for the door will activate at 2pm on the day of check-in and be valid for the duration of your stay but will expire at 10am on the day of your check out. If you require alternative times to check in or out, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will try to accommodate any requests if possible.

Qiuet Hours

Our beautiful vintage building is over 90 years old and is shared with our five friendly neighbours. Some noise does travel but we have taken all measures to try to reduce this as much as possible.

Therefore we ask that you minimise noise levels especially during the quiet hours of 9pm and 7am which will help ensure a restful environment for everyone.

Parties and or large getherings are strictly not permitted at any time at Nightfall.

Security

We value your safety above all else at Sabbatical, so we have fitted electronic door locks on all external doors. The code for these are provided in your welcome email. They are changed for each guest to ensure maximum security at all times.

The master bedroom has also a safe installed so we encourage you to use this to securely store important items and possessions. Please note that Sabbatical will not be liable for any theft or loss of possessions while staying at Nightfall.

For your safety and the security of the property we ask that you ensure all windows and doors are closed and locked when leaving. We also recommend keeping the both external doors closed and locked when at home at Nightfall.

Please ensure that all air conditioning units are also turned off when leaving Nightfall. This is to help conserve energy.

Car Parking

Parking can be tricky at Nightfall.

Free street car parking can secured on Durham Street - located at the rear access of Nightfall. However this is limited to 3 hours during the day from 9am ->6pm.

Paid ticket street parking is also available on Colley Terrace but this can often also be limited at times due to the popularity of Glenelg for beach goers. It is also regularly patrolled for ticket infringments.

Sabbatical will not be liable for any damages or fines you receive if you choose to use the street parking options.

Environment

We care deeply about our planet at Sabbatical and try hard to minimise our impact where ever possible.

We have reduced our carbon footprint by providing dispensers for all personal care items, so please use these in moderation.

We also ask that all lights, air conditioning and electronics such as televisions are turned off when not in use to promote energy savings.

Please feel free to use the laundry facilties, however if it is a sunny day please use the clothes line instead of the dryer.

Garbage & Recycling

We love recycling! So we have provided bins for you to separate your waste into three main groups:

General waste (Red Bin) - Food scraps, plastic packaging and other miscellaneous items
Recycling (Yellow Bin) - Paper, cardboard, cans, glass jars / wine bottles and metal trays.
Beverage containers (Grey Bin) - Beer cans and bottles, Juice and soft drink containers

Please help us care for the environment by sorting your garbage as much as possible. If your waste is more than the inside capacity bins please use the red and yellow bins outside marked 20F only.

Fireplace

We know that everyone loves a crackling fire especially in the middle of winter, however the fireplace at Nightfall is now only decorative and can no longer be used for fires due to the age of the building and the chimney being closed off.

Please be aware that fires are strictly prohibited at Nightfall at all times.

Beach

Glenelg Beach is a only a very short walk across Colley Reserve from Nightfall. Please do take time out and enjoy this wonderful place during your visit!

We ask that you use the beach towels provided instead of the bathroom towels as these are better suited for the sand.

Also please feel free to use the beach umbrella and beach bag if you forget your own, however remember to return it back when you are finished.

Smoking

Nightfall is a strictly a no smoking / vaping property. Please smoke in outside areas if absolutely necessary.

Pets

Nightfall is a strictly a no pets property.

Theft & Damages

To avoid damages and breakage, please do not move furniture around Nightfall.
Please notify us if any breakages do occur, so we can replace for our next guest.
Theft will not be tolerated and will be reported to the police.
